Cold Climates - Add Heat Pack
For cold climates with upcoming sub-32-degree temperatures within five days of your order, we strongly advise adding a heat pack. Orders without a heat pack will not include one.
To prevent plants from freezing while in transit, orders placed for areas with severe freezing temperatures will be held for shipment until it is safe to ship.

Sculptural and seasonally striking, Aloe suprafoliata - commonly called Book Aloe - offers visual intrigue at every growth stage. This South African native begins life with a unique "open book" leaf pattern, where pairs of blue-grey leaves fan out in a flattened, two-ranked arrangement. As the plant matures, it transitions into a full rosette, eventually forming a solitary, upright specimen up to 2 feet wide.
In winter, cylindrical spikes of rose-pink to scarlet tubular flowers emerge, attracting pollinators and adding color to dormant gardens. Foliage may blush purple in full sun or cool temperatures, and firm red teeth line the leaf margins, reinforcing its architectural appeal.
Best in full sun with excellent drainage. Hardy to 20–25°F (USDA Zone 9b+). Water infrequently and protect from excess summer moisture. Grows beautifully in rockeries, dry borders, and large containers where its form can be appreciated year-round.
A must-have for collectors and dry garden designers alike, Book Aloe delivers bold form, seasonal blooms, and year-round character in one elegant package.
This plant has been grown in a 4" pot. You will receive a very similar plant to the one in the picture. The plant is shipped "dry-root" (with out soil).
