Aloe andongensis
Reference only - not in production
Aloe andongensis is a slender-stemmed, branching shrubby aloe from Angola, known for its small to medium, suckering habit and neat rosettes adorned with eye-catching white dots. Prolific offsets produce weak branches, while bright green leaves, mottled with light spots and armed with sharp teeth, grow up to 10 inches long. Stemless rosettes reach up to 20 inches in height, with erect or oblique leafy stems. Flowering inflorescences, up to 16 inches tall, bear gorgeous orange-scarlet racemes tapering to yellow flowers. Originating from Pungo Andongo in Angola, it thrives in light shade and well-drained soil, tolerating light frost. With its tropical appearance, it serves as an attractive feature in any garden.
