Cold Climates - Add Heat Pack
For cold climates with upcoming sub-32-degree temperatures within five days of your order, we strongly advise adding a heat pack. Orders without a heat pack will not include one.
To prevent plants from freezing while in transit, orders placed for areas with severe freezing temperatures will be held for shipment until it is safe to ship.
The Lace Aloe, Aloe aristata, is a small, clumping succulent native to South Africa and Lesotho, growing no more than 8 to 12 inches tall. Its stemless rosettes feature stubby, lance-shaped dark green leaves densely lined with white cilia and bumps, resembling Haworthia. Thriving in various habitats, it tolerates diverse environmental conditions. In summer to fall, it produces striking 12 - 18 inches tall branched inflorescences bearing tubular orange-red to pink flowers, attracting bees and hummingbirds. Belonging to the Aristaloe genus, it prefers warm, dry climates with excellent drainage and minimal watering, particularly frost hardy down to 5°F. Ideal for rock gardens, ground cover, or as a houseplant, its succulent rosettes with yellow spots and soft white spines add charm to any garden.
