Aloe 'Conejo Flame' is an upright clustering succulent originating from East Africa, celebrated for its striking appearance and vibrant red-orange flowers. Growing up to 3-4 feet tall and wide, this evergreen plant features narrow deep green leaves adorned with medium-sized teeth. Blooming in late winter to spring, it produces branched inflorescences that stand 2-3 feet tall, adding a splash of color to the landscape and attracting pollinators. Believed to be a hybrid involving Aloe dawei, 'Conejo Flame' was selected from plants growing at Jeff Chemnick's Aloes in Wonderland garden. Thriving in well-drained soil and tolerating full sun to light shade, it is suitable for desert landscapes and has low water needs. With cold hardiness down to at least 25°F, it can withstand mild winter temperatures and is relatively easy to care for, making it a popular choice for xeriscaping projects and adding visual interest to garden beds.
