Aloe deltoideodonta 'Sparkler,' also known as Kelly's Sparkler Aloe, is a compact, attractive succulent featuring broad bronze-green leaves with small white spots and soft white teeth along the edges. This aloe typically grows less than 1 foot in height and width, forming a short, squat rosette heavily marked with white spots. It produces a 12 to 18-inch tall inflorescence with few branches, bearing slender pink flowers tipped in white. Believed to be of hybrid origin, possibly related to Aloe imalotensis var. longiracemosa from Madagascar, it was developed by Kelly Griffin and introduced by Rancho Tissue Technologies. Thriving in full sun to light shade, this aloe requires well-drained soil and has low water needs, suitable for USDA zones 9-11, though its exact winter hardiness is unknown. Ideal for landscape use and container gardening, its compact size and attractive foliage make it a great accent plant in succulent gardens or as a potted plant, with its unusual flower color adding seasonal interest during summer and fall.
This plant has been grown in a 4" pot. You will receive a very similar plant to the one in the picture. The plant is shipped "dry-root" (with out soil).
