For cold climates with upcoming sub-32-degree temperatures within five days of your order, we strongly advise adding a heat pack. Orders without a heat pack will not include one.
To prevent plants from freezing while in transit, orders placed for areas with severe freezing temperatures will be held for shipment until it is safe to ship.

A sculptural hybrid with fan-like elegance, Aloe 'Jenny Lind' is a rare, compact succulent that brings architectural structure to small spaces. Selected by San Marcos Growers and introduced in 2014, this plant descends from Kumara disticha (formerly Aloe plicatilis) and features gray-green, triangular leaves arranged in tight, low rosettes—reminiscent of a handheld fan. The name honors 19th-century soprano Jenny Lind, whose namesake folding fans share the plant’s graceful silhouette.
Growing 1–2 feet tall and wide, Jenny Lind stays clustering and low, making it ideal for containers, dry borders, and design-conscious succulent gardens. From late winter into spring, it blooms with slender, lightly branched flower spikes bearing pale orange to coral-red tubular flowers with green tips—more delicate than typical Fan Aloe blooms.
Plant in full sun to light shade in well-drained soil. Once established, it requires only occasional water and thrives in mild, dry-summer climates. Hardy to 20–25°F (USDA Zone 9a+), it may tolerate brief frost in protected sites.
A collector’s gem that combines elegance, drought tolerance, and compact form—ideal for patio containers, rockeries, and design-focused dry gardens.
