Mangave "Bad Hair Day" (PP30279) is a hybrid succulent that combines the durability of Agave with the fast-growing, tropical traits of Manfreda. The compact rosette grows about 10 inches tall and up to 30 inches wide, with narrow, flexible, spineless leaves that twist and curl, giving it the appearance of "messy hair." Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' is a 2011 hybrid of *Manfreda maculosa* and *Agave geminiflora*, introduced in 2018 as part of the "Mad About Mangave" collection by Walters Gardens. It thrives in full sun to part shade, prefers well-drained soil, and requires minimal water once established, making it an excellent option for drought-tolerant gardens.
